So, the teaser trailer for Daredevil, season 2 is out. Finally! This does seem to be the exact same trailer that was shown at NYCC this past fall, and it's not really a full trailer, so I expect to see much more footage coming out between now, and March 24. Because yes, we finally have a final date for the season's release. It was initially March 4, then went back to being a vague "March," but is now set for just over seven weeks from now.
I have made a reaction video for my YouTube channel that you'll find below. Further down, you'll also find all of the individual frames that are covered at various lengths in the video. It's really cool how well the scenes we are being shown line up with the lyrics of song playing in the background, which is Lithonia by Childish Gambino. The MISSING poster was seen in full from some BTS photos and Getty photos had one pretty good shot. It says “Matt Murdock” instead of Matthew Murdock.

Normally missing posters will describe the clothing worn at the time last seen- but this one doesn’t even get the last location correct. He was last seen at Metro-General hospital wearing a hospital gown. But since it doesn’t have that text, it’s safe to say that Kirsten didn’t put this out there. Fisk is trying to create the illusion that they are worried about him rather than that they are trying to capture him.
I wasn’t sure if the “I hope you can walk” bit was because he was injured or because he’d been drinking and she thought he might be drunk. Someone said that her line at comic con was something like “Looks like the devil needs a babysitter” but I don’t know if that is true or not.
The way he hit one of the AVTF guys with a billy club (or something like that) reminded me of a sort of fan-made stunt video some people did of their take on Daredevil where Matt Murdock used a rifle like a javelin and chucked it at an AVTF guy’s head. I wonder if the producers saw that clip.

I kind of wonder if Heather was going undercover to find out what was going on with Fisk or if she genuinely was so fed up with Matt’s lies and odd behavior that it pushed her to join Fisk. We know she was concerned for Vanessa’s safety, but did she see the softer side of him and think he wasn’t so bad? It’s hard to tell. I hope she doesn’t end up like she did in the comics.
There were flowers and stuff on the steps behind the cops so I’m thinking someone was killed. Likely the person whose face is on the poster may have been killed by the AVTF.
There were ads somewhere in some of the promos I’ve seen for a boxing match between Fisk and someone else. So I think it’s a real boxing match. I think it’s for charity but can’t be sure.
Someone said Daredevil was pointing a rifle with a bright flashlight on it at the cops and blinding them, but my vision isn’t good enough to tell.

Can’t seem to find a good place to get a really good discussion going and my family members are sick to death of hearing about Daredevil. LOL. Reddit does have some discussion but there are some people who get hostile and the topics peter out pretty quickly.
I’m interested on your take of the brief courtroom pics in the promo aired during WonderMan. It could be just my eyes, but it looks like Matt’s glasses are askew– the frame arm on the left side of his face isn’t on his ear– it’s hovering above it. He definitely looks tense to me. He appeared to be wearing the same outfit in the church so I’m wondering if the church scene was after the court scene. There were some bts shots of him in that suit with some blood on the shirt. Reddit has some good pictures in a thread of bts stuff from filming for next season.
The actor who played Brett Mahoney in the original show confirmed he’s in season 2 of Born Again. I wonder if he’ll be returning to help or if it will be flashbacks. Or maybe both. We could see him having flashback discussions with Foggy. I really wish they would bring Foggy back. Apparently the original writers wanted to kill off both Foggy and Karen off screen and the show was slated to start with Matt grieving them both. I don’t know if they said how Karen died, but Foggy was killed by a dirty cop or something. Charlie and Vincent lobbied the writers to change things. New writers still chose to have Foggy die, but gave him a death scene and kept Karen alive. I wish they’d kept both alive.
More thoughts on Heather, i know in the comics she blamed Daredevil for her father’s death. She really has a hate-boner for vigilantes so I wonder if she had some tragedy in her life that was related to vigilantes and if she has a particular dislike for Daredevil over something that happened. Still loved Matt’s reaction when she asked if he could get her an interview with Frank Castle.
I’m digressing and rambling. Sorry. LOL.

I’m still very curious about the courtroom scene from the trailer in front of WonderMan where Matt looked very stiff and his glasses were askew (the left arm of his glasses was way above his ear instead of sitting down on the ear the way it normally does).

I am putting in the time stamp because its right before what looks like a behind-the-scenes clip of Matt confronting Fisk and Fisk’s entourage. In the new teaser Karen was behind Matt. Interested in your take on it– if you recognize any of the people behind Fisk or not. I’m terrible with faces.
