Exciting week ahead!

It’s not often that we get three doses of Daredevil in one week. Due out this Wednesday – or Thursday where I am – are Shadowland #2, Shadowland: Bullsye #1 and Daredevil: Black & White #1 (both of the latter are one-shots). Who knows if Daredevil will actually show up in Shadowland: Bullseye, but it’s at the very least highly Daredevil-related.

I’m really looking forward to Shadowland #2 where it appears that we’re going to start seeing the involvement of some of the other big players. I’m also excited for Daredevil: Black & White, which has absolutely nothing to do with Shadowland. The book isn’t set in regular continuity, and from the look of the preview we will certainly be treated to some very different stories. Variety is the spice of life, as they say, and I’ll be sure to review all three of these titles, as well as every other Shadowland tie-in coming out this and every month for the rest of the year.

The next two months will be busy ones for me (sadly not just because of Shadowland), but by the end of September, things should get back to normal. So, I hope you’ll forgive me if I don’t have time for much else besides writing a ridiculous number of reviews for the next few weeks. As for the promised design update, that’s still something I’m working on (even though the theme licensing situation resolved itself, sort of), but the new look is still a week or two away.

In other site-related news, July of 2010 saw the highest number of visits and page views so far on this blog. It’s always fun to know that more and more people are finding this little corner of cyberspace, and hopefully finding it useful. It also shows that people are interested in Shadowland and looking for information about the event and the Daredevil character.

Let’s hope that trend continues and that the stories we’ll be seeing will continue to deliver. I will hopefully be back with an update in the next day or two, but if time gets away from me, I will see you no later than Thursday for my review of Shadowland #2. Have a good week!
