Wanted:Legal secretary for small Manhattan law firm specializing in criminal law. Must be able to keep cool in a crisis. Experience with superhero-related public relations nightmares and kidnappings is a plus. For additional information, please inquire below…

Karen Page is certainly the best known secretary at the law firm of Nelson and Murdock. Current partner Becky Blake is another famous face For the most part, however, legal secretaries are hinted at but rarely mentioned. Last issue saw the “introduction” of the lady below on the left. We don’t know anything about her except that she has to be there for Nelson, Blake and Murdock to be a believable law firm where a secretary might actually come in handy. We can only imagine what she might think of the blind lawyer with the smoking hot temper who works odd hours or sometimes not at all. Unless they told her the whole truth when she asked about a certain Mr. Murdock’s not so secret life in the newspapers. She may not have a name (yet), but this is an equal opportunity blog where even the comics version of an extra billed as “milk man #2” gets a moment to shine. While we’re at it, let’s also give a round of applause to the anonymous lady who worked the phones during the Bendis run and, finally, one of the poor people who had to slave under Rosalind Sharpe. Here’s to you anonymous secretaries! Now, drink up and get out of there before Leap-Frog comes back from the dead.
