Daredevil #114 art preview and Ninja Mayhem!

I hope you’ll excuse my much needed one week break from blogging. Yes, I needed it. This was a crazy week at work and I needed to refuel my DD batteries (they’re like AA batteries with the exception that they’re superpowered…). I have been doing some other DD-related things, however, such as putting together the ultimate Daredevil news RSS feed that I will introduce in a separate post later this evening.

Moving on, Marvel has a very early art preview of Daredevil #114 up on their site, together with a look back at some earlier Marvel ninja tales. The article is over HERE. Go have a look and I’ll see you later!

  1. Heh, “they’re like AA batteries but superpowered” . Oh yeah! I have an idea. Have you ever thought of doing profiles on the major Daredevil writers? Stan Lee, Ann Nocenti, Brian Bendis, Frank Miller, Ed Brubaker, etc etc? It just seems like something neat. Of course, everything here is neat (love your post on his cane :D).

  2. Well, to answer your question, there are lots of things I’ve thought of doing with this site. The problem is lack of time and the need to publish things on a regular basis (let’s face it, blogs die without regular updates). That is why I mix lighter things with more in-depth stuff. The post on the cane, for instance, literally took hours to put together. Doing a series on DD creators sounds like a fun idea, but I doubt I’ll have time to do anything on that scale anytime soon. Especially since I would want it to be good and well researched.

I have almost two full weeks off for Christmas and New Years, so I will have some more time to spend on the blog then. What I will probably do first is finally get to those “back door” pages and also do reviews of the three existing DD novels (including the novel adaptation of the movie). And mix that up with some lighter stuff too, of course. I’ll keep your suggestion in mind, however.

And, thanks for reading! It’s always fun getting comments.

  3. Okay, I have a confession: That was a trick question. I was thinking of doing that, but I wanted to know if you were, so I decided to trick you into answering honestly. I feel bad, but I couldn’t think of any other way. Do I have your permission, because in my mind your blog has first dibs on anything Daredevil related whatsoever?

    It’s always fun giving them!
