I'm a bit out of the DD loop at the moment, but if my LCS has The List & 501-502 on hand (heh, no pun intended), I'll be back in business. Sure enjoyed #500, especially Nocenti's brief tale. Can't wait to get current with it all. (By the way, I *love* your website revamp! Verrrrry nice!)

I though the plot was OK, specially since they are touching the fallout of Dark Reign instead of fighting Norman directly. But the best part of this issue was the art, I like how DD and his ninjas stand out in the dark environment.

I agree with you that there's a feeling of fragmentation, as far as the issue goes, but then the "one-issue" story is such a rarity in these days that I guess that it will all look better with the full story-arch completed.

Personally, I like Fog's attitude (facing Osborn's henchmen) here, and it makes sense: Nelson is usually meek but, as Becky says, he's been through a lot of tension, and he finally erupted in this issue... Needless to say, I'd like to see how "Angry Nelson" lays off in the following issues ;D

One of the interesting things of the story is that, after years of relative (if welcome) isolation, DD's plot is closely related to the mega-events in the Marvel U: it's curious to see a hero leading a criminal gang, but then if a criminal is in charge of Law and order...

However, my favourite moment of the issue comes from the irrepressible Master Izo: "Water? I said I need a DRINK" XD

Agreed with you, I'd give it an 8. I loved this issue, and the art is to die for.
