Yes, this post will stand in for a news update this week, but I think it will suffice. In case you missed it, the title of this post refers to the working title of a cross-over event mentioned by Joe Quesada in a video version of his Cup O’Joe Q&A session on CBR, to be penciled by Billy Tan. The writer is as yet undisclosed (I have my theories, but I want to see what you guys come up with). From what little we know, this will be a street level cross-over starring some “characters that you don’t really see involved in a bigger story.” With Quesada’s recent, and recurring, talk of a Daredevil family of books, I think the odds are very high that this is something we’re going to see DD involved in. To my surprise, there’s very little talk about this on the Internet (I found one thread on Marvel.com and another on CBR), but what do you guys think of this? If done right, I think it could be pretty cool.

Over at manwithoutfeat.com Kuljit Mithra recently posted this in regards to no DD in the March 2010 solicits from Marvel:
“Marvel editor Tom Brevoort has been answering questions on the CBR boards, and he was asked why there was no solicit for Daredevil in March… here was his response: “There’s no DD in March as we get the schedule in order, and as Andy prepares for the larger project that’s creating all this kerfluffle (sic).”
Could this larger project be ‘Shadow Land’?”
I hope so. And if it is what Andy Diggle is working on we could hear more about this in the near future.
