I hate to be the little kid on the block (or I love it, whatever) but I find ninjas cool. The idea that Mat is taking his place among that good/evil struggle works in my head. It’s a story I think I’ve been waiting for, one-way or another, for years (not that there hasn’t been great stuff in between). I don’t know if it’s really an issue with the status quo, but Matt’s at his best when he’s in over his head. I think we need to take breaks from his Perry Mason world from time to time to remind readers, a. to why he’s awesome and b. to make those stories more special when he gets back to them.
I loved the conclusion.
I love the direction.
If I have any advice for the new creative time it’s humor is your friend.

The way things all resolved by the end of DD #500 made me quite happy, even if they seemed to happen in rapid fire. I am ready to see how Diggle takes charge of our favorite hero's life.

Speaking to one of the plot points in The List: I'm one of the people who DOES care about some of the things portrayed in Matt's life as a blind person, even though they are relatively minor points in the big scheme of things. I can understand that in the scene Chris noted, Matt would not want to be seen as a person of "special needs" in front of this particular group of people.

However, I would like to see him use braille and adaptive technology in his "real life" job. It's just a positive portrayal of people with disabilities. I'm happy to see that the artists have begun to show Becky Blake in a modern wheelchair, and in doing so have updated the perceptions of disability.

Now if all the Daredevil artists would get on the same page with making Matt's white cane long enough (at least breastbone tall, or longer) and without a crook on the end (that went out back in the 70's, folks), I will be a truly happy camper.

Go get 'em, Matt.

I liked the symmetry to Bendis's run when he had Matt as the Kingpin. Seems like a logical progression to have him heading up the Hand now. With Elektra back in the Dark Reign mini, I wonder how long before we see them meet up again.
