Yes, it’s true. This blog has recovered from its state of temporary stasis. I made it back from my two-week trip abroad yesterday and will return to actual blogging tomorrow (I’m still severely jet-lagged, any typos you might see is due to my brain not functioning properly). I’m also starting a new job tomorrow. Hopefully, the latter won’t interfere too much with the former. In the meantime, here’s what’s new:
There’s a one-shot out summarizing what Brubaker has done on the Daredevil title during his two and a half year tenure. I took a look at it, and while not particularly exciting, it should get anyone looking to get into Daredevil up to speed. If that particular person doesn’t want to get the TPBs to read the whole run, some of the details about the one-shot can be found HERE.
Go to www.manwithoutfear.com and check what’s new. That’s what I do when I’m not busy searching the net myself. In the news section is a link to the latest Brubaker/Rucka interview. Go read it if you haven’t done so already.
Check out the updates on my buddy Francesco’s blog F’s Kitchen which is also devoted to Daredevil. He wrote some great stuff while I was away and I really enjoyed catching up.
As for what’s happening on this blog in the next few days, my next post will be the first in a new series called Random Reviews. And when I say random, I really mean it. As in me going online to look for a random numbers generator and getting it to give me a bunch of numbers corresponding to the number of Daredevil comics published thus far. Basically, it’s like drawing an issue out of a hat that I will be forced to review whether I want to or not. It should be a lot of fun. Also, look for an update of Hell’s Kitchen sometime this week. Right now, I’m about to crash, so I should get to bed before I accidentally type something insane that I will end up regretting later.
Take care everyone and I’ll see you later!
